3. Nairobi to Voi by Train~ 6hrs then Voi to Tsavo West National Park by Road ~45min
Day 1 – Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park
Early morning depart from Nairobi and travel along the Nairobi- Mombasa Road. After approximately 6hours drive, arrive at Tsavo West National Park’s main gate. Enjoy a game drive en route to Salt lick Safari Lodge and Spa. You will then check in and have a rest as you enjoy the lodge’s facilities, and later on have your lunch. After lunch, you will have a short rest before departing for your afternoon game drive in the park spotting iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes and zebras, you will also get a chance to visit the artifacts museum at Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa. Enjoy drinks as the sun sets over the park’s scenic vistas.
After the game drive, we head back to lodge, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your lodge. Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
Day 2 – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Tsavo West National Park with morning games drive to have the best chance to see predators and other animals at their most active. Visit Mzima Springs and Rhino Sanctuary. Later on, go back to the lodge for your lunch and a short rest, enjoy a nature walk, or take a birdwatching tour. Embark on another safari for a chance to see nocturnal animals.
Return to the lodge and enjoy dinner storytelling near campfire area.
Day 3 – Masai Mara to Tsavo West National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive to witness the sunrise and observe wildlife during their active hours. After breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
